Desoto Kayak Tours Logo

Desoto Kayak Tours manatee kayak tours and dolphin kayak tours are led by professional local guides native to Anna Maria Island. Desoto Kayak Tours is a small family owned kayak tour company with an emphasis on kayaking in small groups and guiding our kayak tour guests on relaxing secluded waterways. We launch tours convenient for visitors staying in the Sarasota, Siesta Key, Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, and the Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater areas. Desoto Kayak Tours launches by online booking only. Desoto Kayak Tours does not rent kayaks or offer self guided tours.

Desoto Kayak offers a real Florida kayak tour experience that is fun for all ages and no experience is required. Desoto Kayak launches from Emerson Point in Palmetto Florida. Emerson Point is a small point of land sitting between the area’s best natural resources. The south side of the kayak tour area is the Manatee River where lots of the area’s manatees call home. West of the kayaking area is Tampa Bay, with views of Anna Maria Island and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. On clear days Fort Desoto Park can be seen from your kayak. The North Eastern side of the estuary is the famous Terra Ceia Bay. Desoto Kayak will guide you through the beautiful and vast mangrove tunnels and out to the protected seagrass estuaries to search for dolphins and manatees from your kayak. Sea birds, shore birds, and wading birds are a common sight on our guided adventures.
